Festival des Cabanes
Welcome to the 10th edition of the Festival des Cabanes of the Sources du lac d’Annecy – the must-attend event of the summer!
This is a unique opportunity to create unforgettable memories with family or friends. (Re)discover nature and architecture from a new perspective through 13 cabins set in iconic locations, from the Sources du lac d’Annecy to the southern shores of Lake Annecy and the surrounding villages.
This year, don’t miss the chance to admire unique architectural creations while taking part in fun and educational activities with the brand-new Alpvengers app.
Festival des Cabanes – Cabin Festival
From July 1 to November 15, 2025, the only festival that celebrates both architecture and landscapes.
The cabins, all designed by architects, are selected from hundreds of projects submitted from around the world. A jury chooses one team per site, which then builds its masterpiece in a sometimes little-known but always inspiring location within the destination.
Each cabin is constructed exclusively from local wood and seamlessly blends into its natural setting—whether by the lake, along a river or pond, on a trail, in a clearing, or in an open field.
This festival is an opportunity to reflect on the environment and question humanity’s place and impact in these natural spaces. Above all, it invites both young and old to reconnect with the magic of childhood—a time when cabins symbolized escape, refuge, and play.

🎮 Mission “Around the Cabins”: Starting July 15, download the Alpvengers app and turn your visit into an exciting and interactive adventure. Take on challenges, answer quizzes, and win exclusive rewards while exploring the stunning cabins.
🎨 Sketch Contest “Cabins to Draw”: Unleash your creativity and sketch the most fascinating cabins. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, put your talent to the test for a chance to win amazing prizes!
🎭 “Around the Cabins” Activities: Enjoy a variety of fun events, including concerts, performances, guided tours, and much more for the whole family!

Take part in the contest organized by the Office de Tourisme des Sources du lac d’Annecy and try to win amazing prizes!
How does it work?
1️⃣ Pick up your sketchbook at the Tourist Office in Doussard or Faverges.
2️⃣ Find inspiration at the 13 cabin sites of the Festival des Cabanes and start drawing.
3️⃣ Submit your artwork at the Tourist Office or send it by mail or email to accueil@sources-lac-annecy.com.

From July to September, enjoy a rich and diverse program centered around the cabins!
